At Arena Painting Contractors, safety is more than a checklist, it is a core company value that guides every project. We take pride in fostering a safety-first culture where each team member looks out for one another. This professional approach means everyone from management to crew is engaged in maintaining a hazard-free work environment. The result is not only compliance with regulations, but a genuine peace of mind for our employees and clients alike.

Comprehensive Safety Training Program

A strong safety record is the result of consistent training, planning, and accountability. Arena Painting has developed an extensive internal safety training program to ensure every worker is prepared for the job. Our team members complete OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour training covering the most common jobsite hazards. Beyond the basics, our curriculum includes specialized certifications such as confined space entry, forklift operation, first aid/CPR, ladder and fall protection, and even NFPA 70E electrical safety training. This wide-ranging safety preparation ensures that every employee is trained to identify risks and act with expertise.

Every Arena Painting team member is thoroughly trained before ever stepping onto a job site. We believe in proactive education because well-trained workers can identify, report, and control potential dangers long before accidents happen. Ladder safety is one clear example: according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 161 workers lost their lives in 2020 due to ladder-related injuries. That same year, an additional 22,710 workers suffered ladder injuries serious enough to require time off work. These statistics reinforce why ladder and fall-protection training is a mandatory part of our onboarding. All of our safety sessions are led by certified professionals within our Safety Department, so crew members learn the best practices directly from the experts.

Leading by Example in Safety

By embedding “Think Safety” into our daily operations, Arena Painting sets the bar for jobsite safety across the industry. We do not  just meet the minimum requirements,we aim to exceed them. By investing in ongoing education and strict safety standards, we set an example that others in the industry can follow. A strong safety culture not only protects our own employees; it also builds trust with our clients. When they see our crews arrive in hard hats, harnesses, and Nomex gear, they know that the work will be done carefully and responsibly. At Arena Painting, safety is part of who we are, and we are proud to lead with it every day.
